Tony is a senior technology leader (CTO / GM / VP Engineering) with over 20 years’ experience in payments, accounting and other business‑critical B2B software. He has led large engineering, product and operations teams, driven ways‑of‑working transformations, and modernised platforms towards Cloud/SaaS in regulated environments.

His work focuses on ways of working, culture, and the connection between strategy, product, technology and delivery – helping organisations achieve ~90% on‑time delivery, materially improve engagement, and increase the value of their technology assets.

TRANSFORMATION

At Linkly, Tony led a business‑wide technology and culture transformation across three offices, modernising platforms and ways of working for payments products serving 170,000+ terminals and over 10 million daily transactions.

He doubled engineering capacity, introduced a product‑led Agile operating model, improved reliability, and helped lift EBITDA growth to high single digits while rebuilding trust between technology, the business and the board.

SCALING LEAN/AGILE

At MYOB, Tony helped transform the Practice division (~250 people, $100m budget) from desktop products to Cloud/SaaS by redesigning the organisational structure and scaling Lean/Agile practices across 28 teams.

Under his leadership, delivery capacity tripled, monthly releases increased from 10 to 300, and engagement scores rose from ~40% to over 80%, supporting a major strategic shift in how accountants and bookkeepers were served.

STRATEGIC ADVISORY

As a Consulting CTO and Transformation Consultant, Tony has advised product accelerators, investors and software companies on technology strategy, ways of working and M&A.

Recent work includes technical due diligence for PE/VC‑backed deals and a business‑wide ways‑of‑working uplift at Wilcom, where he introduced a quarterly cross‑division planning cadence that achieved ~90% on‑time delivery and restored owner and board confidence in engineering.
